Dirk W. van de Bunt

Dirk W. van de Bunt oversees the business affairs, legal and marketing services departments at Guthy-Renker, one of the world's largest direct response television companies, with sales of more than $1.8 billion per year.Before joining Guthy-Renker in 2007, Mr. van de Bunt was Co-President & Chief Operating Officer of The Carsey-Werner Company, the leading independent television production and distribution company, responsible for such series as “That ‘70s Show”, “The Cosby Show”, “Roseanne”, “3rd Rock From the Sun” and many others. Prior to joining Carsey-Werner in 1994, van de Bunt spent ten years in various business affairs capacities at Paramount Pictures Corporation. Before joining Paramount, van de Bunt was a litigator with the international entertainment law firm Loeb & Loeb and served as law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge Jesse W. Curtis, Jr. van de Bunt has BA, MA and JD degrees from UCLA. He is a member of and has served on the governing boards of the Los Angeles Copyright Society, the UCLA School of Law Entertainment Law Symposium, and the UCLA Alumni Association; he is also a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
